Artist's Comments

This charming pendant is made from the remains of a Mercury Courier, a little contraption that was once used for sending messages short distances.

My father had several of these in pieces in his laboratory, and I just couldn't let them rust away, so I thought fashioning them into something wearable was a suitable solution.

Malachite facilitates change, and adds an electrical nature to an item. I would wager that this piece could be used as a focus for electrical emission distortion! Not that I would ENCOURAGE such a thing, ever. No. Not I. Certainly not to be used against dashing, dastardly Barons, either.

A pin rather than a pendant, this was a very special order made just for our dear Dr. Nikolai T. Caligari III.

This is absolutely gorgeous!
And I adore the title. Clockwork Green. It fits magnificently.

I might come into a small bit of money for this purchase sometime soon. So I hope you'll hold it for me.

By the way, this image now takes up the back of my Babbage monitor screen. Not only is it a wonderful piece of flair, but also is a wonderfully taken photograph.

Oh, I am SO glad that you like it! It bit me something fierce when I was making it, and thus has a ton of energy in it. QUITE odd, making it. But I loved doing it.

And I was SO pleased with the picture! I think it's the best picture I've taken to date. It's really been learning how to shoot a piece, and I think I've found myself something that works.
