Artist's Comments

A wonderful commissioned piece I had the joy of creating, this was created for Lady D'Malthea to be worn to the Midsummer Ball. Flowers of glass accent this lovely gear, and soft silver wirewrap adds to the vine-like feeling of this piece.

As a Tinkerer I can safely say this is not a usual piece for me, the delicate silverwork a rarity, but I loved creating it and I must admit I am aching to do more pieces like this!

Private collection of Lady D'Malthea.

That is rather unusual for you! Still very beautiful.

It is rather different for you, but still quite lovely!

I can't help to notice that you photographed it on an old German bible.

Indeed I did. I feel like when I want to get a good shot, I use that book. It dates to 1795!

Quite a time, maybe the best Germany ever had, before all that Prussian hegemony took over. I could go into German history and all the bad things that happened back then, but I'd end up getting to recent, thus Godwinizing my post. :P
