Artist's Comments
The first glimpse of fireflies always heralds the beginning of summer in my mind, but in this day and age, the fireflies are mere memories, long gone from this plane, wiped out by circumstance, drought and destruction.
In my memory I can see them, dancing across the fields. I see my sister dancing with them, her face alight with their glow. A memory I never want to fade.
It is, perhaps, a poor reconstruction- the colours are wrong, and they don't seem to flicker like they do in memory- but let this homage be enough, so that children now may experience the joy of these creatures as I once did.

The goblins are going to EAT you.
Drink coffee - do stupid things faster and with more energy!
It's a really nifty nightlight, too!

I *have* seen fireflies before, but these are just as awesome, seriously.
